Head coach of the Ugandan senior national football team Milutin Sredojevic has confirmed affection for Ghana after his side was drawn in group D with Ghana ahead of the 2017 Gabon AFCON.
The coach of the cranes speaking in an interview with Accra based Happy FM, revealed he would want Ghana to qualify alongside the cranes.
Before the draw, Uganda and Ghana opened their 2018 world cup campaign in Tamale, Ghana where reports indicated the Milutin had wanted to meet the FA chief of Ghana Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Prior to the game there were widespread information circulating in the local media suggesting Sedrojevic’s interest in the Black Stars coaching job.
His recent interviews have buttressed claims Sedrojevic’s love and passion for Avram Grant’s position and will be ready to dine.
“We shall together plot with Ghana so that Uganda and Ghana qualifies from the group” Said Sedrojevic after the draw.
Ghana has been tied up in Group D with former champions, Egypt, Mali and Uganda.
