The Cranes of Uganda conducted three training sessions On Tuesday, as they intensified their training sessions ahead of the Total Africa Cup of Nations finals in Gabon come the year 2017.
The team, currently at the residential camp in Serene Suites Hotel in Mutundwe was boosted by the timely arrival of experienced midfielder Tonny Mawejje and defender Murushid Jjuuko.
They trained at 6:45 p.m, 11 a.m and late in the evening at 5 p.m with the intention of boosting the fitness levels of the players.
According to the head coach, Milutin Sredejovic, the intensified training sessions are to keep the players in shape.
I am impressed by the response of players in the sessions. There are still remaining sessions which we believe will be purposeful towards team building and shaping the fitness levels of the players,he told fufa.co.ug.
