Ashanti Gold midfielder Amos Addai has return to camp after picking a career threatening injury in their match day 23 game against Elmina Sharks on Sunday.
Amos suffered a head-on collision with one player from Elmina Sharks, when attacking from the final third following a corner. He was stretched off the field and subsequently replaced by Osei Baffour on the 16th minute.
The Obuasi-based club lost 1-2 at home – their first defeat in seven-league games.
In further treatment, the 19-year-old was sent to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to run series of scan on the player.
He has since return to camp after recuperating quickly. Speaking exclusively to SportsWorldGhana.com, the marauding player said;
“I’m very much ok and doing well at the moment. Am at the camp at the moment and expected to start personal training tomorrow [Friday].”
“It is not going to be a rigorous training but a light one scheduled for me.
“I won’t be available for this weekend matches but may be available for our outstanding game against WAFA game,” he added.
Ashanti Gold will play at guest to Liberty Professional, who are without a win in their last three league games in their match day 24 encounters
