Appoint the right people to Govern football-Baffoe to African Football Leaders

Professional footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG)General secretary,Anthony Baffoe has advised African football federation to involve the right people in football administration.

The African Football Symposium expected to open a new page in the development of African football.

As a continent with great football talents, its lacks behind in terms of football development, infrastructure and  investment.

Always the world tunes in to talk of African football being undermined by bonus disputes and administrative problems, rather than to celebrate the talent of the teams or their star men.

It is also important to acknowledge that there is no “magic bullet” for African sides. Some of the continent’s problems are deeply rooted within structures and systems and may take generations to overcome

The ex-Ghanaian defender has urged African football leaders to appoint the right people at helm of affairs .

“As President Ahmad and FIFA President Infantino talked about formation,as a general coordinator i am in contact with most of the teams and i see how well a team is organized,”he shared his views at the forum.

“And I think it is important also for federations to often put the right people in the right places.”

“Right people in the right places,”he stressed.

Ghana legend Abedi Pele and FIFA executive member Kwesi Nyantakyi  was among high profile participants at the Symposium.

The two day program  organized under the High Patronage of the King of Morocco is set to end on Wednesday 19 July 2017.
