Operations director of Bechem United Mr. Francis has confirmed CAF has communicated to them that their park doesn’t meet the standard of CAF to host a confederation cup game.
The man in charge of operations at Bechem United speaking to Kumasi based Kessben FM after they were drawn with Algerian side MC Algiers, disclosed CAF has inspected their home venue a week ago and has communicated back to them that with the current state of the Bechem park, it cannot be used for an international competition.
The operations director added the African football governing body have given them a two weeks ultimatum to furnish their home venue with some key requirements which includes, a doping center and a standardized press box.
The Brong Ahafo based football club will want their fans get close to them as they will be representing Ghana in the Confederation cup thus calls on all sympathisers of the club to come to their aid in a bid to meet the deadline by CAF.
