Ghana’s female senior national team, the Black Queens have failed to reach the final stage of the ongoing African Women Nations Cup after losing 1-0 to host nation Cameroon in their semi- final clash on Tuesday afternoon Yaounde.
After a first half dominated by the indomitable lionesses without scoring any goal, Enow Ngachu’s side came back strongly in the second half to ensure Ghana is denied a grand finale spot.
A goal from Raissa Feudjio in the 71st minute was all that the Cameroonians needed to register their superiority of the Ghanaian side.
They will know their opponent at the end of the other semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa.
Cameroon won all their three group stage matches whilst Ghana won two with a drawn game against Nigeria.
