The Black Stars have been ranked the 52nd best national football team in the world after placing 50th in the month of August ranking.
The are also ranked eighth on the African continent.
Ghana slipped two places on the latest ranking released on September 14, 2017 having finished 50th in the previous ranking in August.
The September ranking see Ghana slipping from 50th to 52nd position from August.
African Champions Cameroon finished 6th on the African continent and 46th globally.
On the African continental, the Black Stars are ranked seven behind Egypt (30) still lead the pack on the continent Egypt, Tunisia, Senegal, DR Congo, Nigeria, Cameroon,Burkina Faso in descending order.
Germany clinched the top spot position followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
