Ukrainian giants FC Dynamo Kyiv have expressed interest in signing high-flying Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom from Red Star Belgrade, SportsworldGhana.com can report exclusively.
Dynamo Kyiv want to sign the former Juventus striker in the January transfer, a player they believed will be a replacement for DR Congo striker Dieumerci Mbokani whose contract with the Kiev based club has expired.
Despite Boakye attracting interest from English Premiership side Chelsea, Stoke City and West Ham United, Dynamo Kyiv are eager to be beat competition from the aforementioned clubs to secure the signature of the Black Stars striker whose scintillating performance saw him score 45 goals in all competitions for club and country in 2017.
SportsworldGhana.com understands negotiations between Red Star Belgrade and Dynamo Kyiv have reached advance stage and that a deal is expected to be sealed soon.
Sources however suggest the 25 year old striker is impressed with the ”audacious bis” from Dynamo Kyiv and is most likely to consider a move to the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium.
The Black Stars forward was in December named Red Star Belgrade Player of the year having performed excellently for his side in the 2016-2017 Serbian SuperLiga.
Dynamo Kyiv have also contacted Swiss side Young Boys for the services of Ghanaian defender Ahmed Adams.
