CAF names Ghana legend as ambassador for AFCON 2017


Former Black Stars midfielder, Abdul Razak has been named by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as the ambassador for Gabon 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Winner of the 1978 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil he was  subsequently voted the African Footballer of the year.

He excellent performance saw him win Asante Kotoko’s first Ghana Premier League title in 2003 including several domestic titles.
