Ghana’s referee Daniel Laryea will lead his other countrymen to officiate in the CAF Champions League match between Rivers United and AS Real Bamako in Port Harcourt on Sunday. Laryea will be assisted on the lines by Eric Nantiere and David Agyin in the second leg after the two teams drew goalless last Sunday at the Stade Modibo Keita in Mali, the return leg comes off at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt. CEO of Bechem United Kingsley Osei Bonsu has revealed the club made 1,900ghc from their confederations cup game against Algerian Club MC Alger over the weekend. The hunters who were making their maiden appearance at the CAF competition defeated the Algerians 2-1 in an almost empty stadium. The club generated 3,000 cedis  as gate proceeds but after deductions, the club made only 1,900 Ghc from the game. The Confederation of African Football says it will take greater control over pitches at future competitions to avoid poor playing surfaces.
