Swansea City manager Paul Clement has confirmed the Premier League side has made a cash plus player for offer for Aston Villa’s Ghanaian striker, Jordan Ayew.  The Welsh club are poised to complete a deal which will see them pay Villa £5million for the £9million-rated Ghana international, with 27-year-old Taylor also included as part of the transfer. Liverpool forward Philippe Coutinho has signed a new five-year contract worth about £150,000 a week, making him the highest-paid player at the club. The 24-year-old Brazil international joined the Reds from Inter Milan for £8.5m in January 2013, and his new deal will take him through to 2022.
