Aduana Stars have completed the signing of former Inter Allies FC midfield dynamo Gockel Ahortor. The 21-year-old has officially penned  a three-year deal with the reigning Ghana Premier League champions. The free-kick expert  has signed for Aduana Stars ahead of the new season.  He was unattached after parting ways with Inter Allies in 2016. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has promised be at the 26th edition of the CAF Awards to be held in Accra on Thursday. South African Premier Soccer League side Bidvest Wits have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Edwin Gyimah in the ongoing transfer window. The defending PSL champions confirmed the capture of the 26-year-old guardsman on their official twitter handle. Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Leonard Tawiah has officially joined Lebanese  league side Akhaa Ahly Alay. The  24 years old, signed a one-year contract on Wednesday with the club after refusing to renew his relationship with Hearts of Oak back in Ghana. The hard tackling defensive midfielder arrived in Lebanon a week ago but had to wait until Wednesday afternoon to complete the deal. He’s expected to make his mark in the Lebanese league after fantastic season with Hearts in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.

Newly promoted Ghana Premier league side Karela United FC  have secured the services of Former Aduana Stars skipper Godfred Saka . Saka declined contract renewal  with Aduana ,hence, joined the Nzema base team on a free transfer. Ghana  Football Association Gala competition winner is set to  earn an amount of 2,000 dollars. The rekindled competition has been reintroduced to help clubs prepare ahead of the start of the new season as part of the football calendar in 2018. Each of the  participating teams will pocket 2,500 dollars as appearance fee. The semi final teams will also earn 500 dollars each with the runner up taking home 1000 dollars. The competition will be held in Cape Coast from 3 to 4 February 2018.

Accra Hearts of Oak Goalkeeper Samuel Akrugu has made it emphatically clear he has realised his comfort no longer matters to the club adding he wants his remaining contract terminated by mutual concert.
