Ghana’s FC Lorient striker will return to training next Monday after an individual fitness that lasted several weeks. The Black Stars striker has seen no action with the Les Merlus‎ after his supposed move to Premiership sides Burnley and West Ham United failed to materialize. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, manager Mickaël Landreau said “From the moment a player trains with the group, and if he does the necessary, he can apply to play,” said his coach.

Greece second tier side Veria F.C have announced the capture of Ghanaian duo Gideon Ofori Offei and Alex Yamoah from Vision FC. The young talents signed a three-year deal with the “Queen of the North”. Budding striker Gideon Ofori 15 goals and 4 assists in 29 caps for with Vision FC last season the GN Bank division one league. Yamoah, a defender on the other hand netted six goals with nine assists in 23 appearances for his side in the previous season and has been on fine form before moving to Greece.

Ghanaian defender Richard Baffour scored his first goal for Egyptian top flight side Ismaily SC in their 4-2 away win at Al-Ittihad on the opening day of the Egyptian Premier League over the weekend.
