Greece second tier side Veria F.C have announced the capture of Ghanaian duo Gideon Ofori Offei and Alex Yamoah from Vision FC. The young talents signed a three-year deal with the “Queen of the North”. Budding striker Gideon Ofori 15 goals and 4 assists in 29 caps for with Vision FC last season the GN Bank division one league. Yamoah, a defender on the other hand netted six goals with nine assists in 23 appearances for his side in the previous season and has been on fine form before moving to Greece.

Dreams FC midfield pass-master Emmanuel Lomotey has secured  a move to Spanish third-tier side Extremadura UD. Ghana international Cofie Bekoe has joined newly promoted side Assiouty Sport after Entag El-Harby deal fell through. The Ghanaian agreed personal terms with Entag El-Harby and nearly joined them before he changed his mind and agreed to join Assiouty Sport on a two-year deal. Assiouty Sport will become the second Egyptian club Bekoe has joined after he had a successful spell at Petrojet, where he scored eight goals in 36 matches. Riyad Mahrez has been allowed to leave the Algeria squad to “formalise” his move from Leicester City, according to the Algerian Football Federation (FAF). The 26-year-old has been the subject of three bids from Italian club Roma since expressing his desire to leave the 2015-16 Premier League champions. The FAF said he had been given permission to miss training to agree a deal before the transfer deadline. Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to be interested. Ghana midfielder Alhassan Wakaso has joined Portuguese Primeira Liga side Vitoria Guimarães on a two-year deal. The 25-year-old signed decided to move on form the club after the Ligue one side Lorient   was relegated from the topflight. Newly promoted English premier league side Brighton and Hove Albion’s £10 million deal to sign Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena from FC Zurich is off. The 21-year-old has failed a medical, according to reports in Switzerland due to a heart condition. It is the second time this summer the club have pulled out of a deal due to a player failing a medical. They were set to sign Brazilian midfielder Renato Neto from Belgian club Gent until the medical revealed a knee condition which eventually required surgery.

Spanish side Leganes have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Owusu Kwabena on a five-year deal, it has been confirmed. The 20-year-old spent a year on loan at Spanish lower league club Toledo having previously played for Sporting Club Accra, and has now penned a deal at Butarque. Owusu netted eight goals for Toledo in last season’s regionalised third tier, helping his club to a promotion playoff spot.
