CONFIRMED: Jordan Ayew joins Swansea City from Aston Villa

Swansea City have completed the signing of Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew from Aston Villa in an exchange deal which sees defender Neil Taylor join the Championship side.

Ayew signed a three-year deal with a club his senior brother Andrew Ayew joined before moving to West Ham United.

Jordan Ayew who is current with the Black Stars team joins his new club after the closure of the 2017 Nations Cup competition in Gabon.

The former Lorient striker scored ten goals  in 58 games for Aston Villa.

Ayew 25, will be available for selection in Ghana’s AFCON semi-final match against Cameroon on Thursday.

I’m sure his brother has given him the inside track on the club ‘’ Swans  coach Paul Clement said.

He is a very good acquisition. He’s versatile and dynamic to attack the lines and get in behind defences.

He will certainly give us something different to what we’ve got’’ he added
