Ghanaian defender Kingsley Fobi remains defiant about SD Formentera chances against UD Logrones in the Spanish Copa del Rey cracker on Wednesday.
Formentera host Logrones at Sant Francesc Xavier in the third round of the Spanish competition knock out stage and the former Ghana U 20 star says the crucial fixture is a ’ must win’ to enable them progress to the next phase of the competition.
Fobi speaking exclusively to sportsworldGhana.com ahead of tonight’s game said his team is fully aware of the threat their opponent will pose in the game indicating they will go in all out to kick them out of the competition.
”UD Logrones are very good side and the game I can tell you wouldn’t be an easy one for us but we will match them well and make sure victory is ours after the stipulated them”.
He added ”This is a knock out game so the only way we can advance to the next stage is when we beat UD Logrones today and we are really prepared to achieve that”.
The former Right to Dream Academy prodigy joined Formentera on loan from Watford in the summer transfer after completing his move to the English Premier side from Serie A side Udinese.
