Ghanaian youngster Derrick Luckassen has joined PSV from AZ Alkmaar sportsworldGhana.com exclusively reports.
The 22-year-old defender signed a five- year deal with the Dutch side following a successful medical on Monday afternoon.
Luckassen, born in Holland grew up at AZ Alkmaar youth team former Ghana U23 star Rayond Gyasi now with Stabaek in Norway before gaining promotion to the club’s first team in 2014 where he became regular starter for John van den Brom’s side.
“I am very proud that I can make this transition,” Luck Assen said after his medical examination at St. Anna TopSupport.
“I chose purely on feeling for PSV. There were some other options, but I think PSV a good club, one that suits me. I hope to do here is very good times, “said Luck Assen, who describes himself as a ‘ powerhouse ‘.
He added “I’m fast, strong and wants to prove myself. I have to work hard to get to play and I’m going to do. ”
