A former Ashgold goalie currently plying his trade in the Nigerian league has passed his judgement on the Ghana Premier League (GPL) and its counterpart Nigeria league.
The Enugu Rangers shot stopper is of the view that in all fronts the Nigeria league is better than the GPL.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Otec FM, he opined that “The Nigeria league is way better than the Ghana league. If you look at player remuneration clubs offer more than their Ghanaian counterparts. Winning bonuses are better than what we have in Ghana. The pitches and balls we use in Nigeria are world class which enhances the beauty of the football played”.
The Nigerian league is managed by the Nigeria League Management, an autonomous body from the Nigerian Football Association. Some Ghanaians have called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to implement the same management style.
