Ghanaian winger Edwin Gyasi has joined Bulgarian giants CSKA Sofia on a two-and-a-half year deal.
The 26-year-old winger sealed the deal in Sofia on Thursday morning after arriving from Norway for talks with the club.
The two sides reached an agreement early in the morning and Gyasi put pen to paper to the deal to complete the move.
The pacy forward signed the deal on Thursday afternoon after agreeing personal terms with the club.
“I cannot wait to start training with the team. I am glad to be part of the biggest Bulgarian club, of which world-renowned players such as Stoichkov and Berbatov have played for the big football’’. Gyasi said in his first interview.
He continued ”The ambition for trophies and big matches in Europe has brought me to CSKA. Roland Albergen further nadaha me, telling me about the fantastic crowd and good atmosphere at the club”
In the last two seasons, Gyan has been successful in the Scandinavian side, with 53 games and 12 goals for Alesund.
