Exclusive: Swiss Raoul Savoy,Bernard Challandes apply for Ghana job


Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that two Swiss managers Raoul Savoy and Bernard Challandes have slapped in their CVs to be considered for the vacant Ghana coaching Job.

The two expatriates coaches have applied for the Black Stars post after the FA announced their search for a new trainer.

The Ghana job became vacant after Israeli Avram Grant announced his departure earlier this month after returning from the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Savoy,43 , with so much experience in African continent  have had stints with  Swaziland, Gambia,Ethiopia   and Central African Republic national teams and also managed several clubs  in Cameroon ,Algeria, Morocco .

The Former FC Sion Manager speaks fluently English, Italian, French, Spanish and German. He also understands Arabic language.

Challandes, former  Switzerland U-21 coach is  jobless since he resigned as coach of  the Armenia National team in 2015.

The 55-year-old, has managed top clubs in Swiss including FC Zürich,  Servette, Young Boys and FC Sion

The Ghana FA has insisted it’s not in a hurry to appoint a new man to take charge of the national team.
