Hearts of Oak coach Frank Elliot Nuttall is happy with his side’s progression In the ongoing MTN FA Cup.
The Phobians have qualified into the next round of the MTN FA Cup after beating Sporting Mirren 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.
Defender Anthony Nimo scored first for Hearts but Mirren quickly restored parity courtesy a fine strike by captain Jewel Arthur.
Winger Patrick Razak won the day for the premier league giants after some good work from Winful Cobbinah as they progressed to the next stage of the competition.
Speaking to reporters after match, Frank Nuttall said, “It’s a cup game and the most important thing is to get through into the next round, so I will say I’m happy with the outcome of the results.”
“But I am more delighted with the work of the fringe players that came into the side, I think they did well because they haven’t played in the first team this season, so it wasn’t easy for them to come through but they did marvelously well.”
