Black Stars Management Committee vice chairman Wilfred Osei says former video analyst of the Black Stars, Gerald Nus, acted ‘unprofessionally’ in retrieving his bonuses from the FA.
The Spaniard staged a sit in protest at the Alisa Hotel since the end of the Africa Cup of Nations after the FA and told the entire technical team to go home and be paid later.
Before Nus left Ghana Sunday night, there were disagreements between him and the GFA over who should settle payments to the hotel where he had been staying, leading to a kufferful between Nus and management of the hotel.
“It is quite unprofessional on his part to do that…it does not happen anywhere. If you work for any institution and you check into a hotel, there are dos and don’ts…,” he told Accra based Class FM.
He argues the former Liverpool trainer solely to blame for his own quandary.
“We all know the ministry has to go through a certain procedure before the budget allocation is released to them. These were some of the issues we told him right from the onset that it would be…proper for him to go to Spain and anytime that the money was ready it would be remitted to him, and now look at how the thing ended. We were in a situation where he incurred extra expenses in the hotel and expected the FA to pay.” He added
