Ghana defender Joseph Atamah Laweh was on target as his side Istanbul Basaksehir recorded a vital 3-2 away victory over Fenerbahce on Saturday after returning to the Turkish side from international duty.
Atamah Laweh who last week featured for the Black Stars in their 2018 World Cup double legged quantifying matches against Congo shot the visitors in front with a powerful header just two minutes into the game with Emre Belozoglu’s brilliant pass.
Togolese striker Emmanuel Adebayor doubled Istanbul Basaksehir’s lead thirty minutes later after the away team had dominated pay for several minutes with defense men of Fenerbahce struggling to hold on to the pressure sparked on them by their opponents attack.
