Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan on target, wins MOTM in HJK 2 – 1 win over HIFK

Ghanaian experience midfielder Anthony Annan was on fire on Tuesday evening in Finland when he scored and was also adjudged Man of the Match in his side HJK 2-1 victory over HIFK.

The former Black Stars enforcer netted the match winner for the host in the 76th mark in the crunchy match.

The cagey clash failed to produce any goal in the first half after the resolute defense men for the respective teams created no space for the strikers to find target.

Back from recess, Nigeria midfielder Vincent Onovo broke the deadlock in the 55th minute to the delight of the home fans who thronged the Telia 5G -areena.

Striker Aleksi Ristola leveled things up for the visitors six minutes later before the Ghanaian international snatched the winner for HJK in the 76th mark.

Annan’s who was a delight to watch throughout the game was voted man of the match after the stipulated time.
