Ghana to spend GH¢2.4m for world-cup qualifier against Uganda

Minister of Youth and Sports,Hon Nii Lante Vanderpuije, has disclosed that the Blacks stars 2018 world Cup qualifier against Uganda will cost about nation GH¢2.4m ($600,000).

Ghana is seeking to make her fourth successive world Cup appearance in Russia but will need to go past Uganda, Congo and Egypt.
The minister has urged that this outfit is making plans to cut done cost for the nation’s world Cup journey.
“Ghana vs Uganda will cost the country close to $600,000 “- Hon Nii Lantei Vanderpuije told Nhyira FM.
“The bonus of the Black stars has not changed ,they will receive $8000.”
The Black stars have safely arrived at Tamale, venue for their game against the Cranes of Uganda on Friday.
