Ghanaian forward Edwin Gyasi will clash with junior brother Raymond as Aalesunds FK take on Stabæk in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Sunday at Color Line Stadion (Ålesund).
Edwin, 26, who was recently handed a debut call up by Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah for Ghana’s 2018 World Cup double legged qualifiers against Congo has been the backbone of the Aalesunds squad since joining from Roda JC Kerkrade.
His younger brother Raymond Gyasi, who is a former Ghana Under-23 star, has also been an influential member of Stabæk.
The two brothers go at each other on Sunday as their respective teams clash in the Norwegian league match day 21 fixture.
The last time the two brothers met was in August 2017 in the NM Cup round 16 where Stabaek beat Aalesund
FK 3-0 with Raymond Gyasi registering his name on the scores sheet.
The presence of two Ghanaian brothers, who were born in the Netherlands, has dominated the major talking points in the European country and they will battle each other for supremacy in the crucial clash on Sunday afternoon.
Below are the last three meetings results of the two sides
2016.03.11: Aalesund 1-0 Stabæk
2015.06.21: Aalesund 1-1 Stabæk
