Egyptian topflight side Zamalek have signed Ghanaian striker Nana Poku from Misr El-Makkasa.
The forward who was early on reported to have joined ENPPI has reunited with his former boss Ehab Galal.
Galal signed the Ghanaian together with his Misr El-Makkasa teammate Emad Fathi.
Poku’s arrival will mean Zamalek will have to do away with one of their four foreign-based players which includes Ghana’s Benjamin Acheampong, Kabongo Kasongo, Moruf Yusuf and Hamdi Nagguez.
The former Ashanti Gold attacker struggled for game time at Misr El-Makkasa as his position was occupied by another Ghanaian John Antwi who joined the Club from Al Ahly.
Zamalek are currently fifth in the Egyptian Premier League with 29 points, 12 behind leaders Ismaily, while El-Makkasa sit 11th with 21 points.
