Ghanaian defender Richard Baffour scored his first goal for Egyptian top flight side Ismaily SC in their 4-2 away win at Al-Ittihad on the opening day of the Egyptian Premier League over the weekend.
The former Bechem United center back capped yet another impressive showing for the Brazilians with an important goal.
With the game tied at 2-2, Baffour rose high in the 80 to put his side into the lead with a powerful close range header following a neatly taken freekick before team mate Ibrahim Hassan rounded off the scoring for Ismaily on the stroke of full time.
The goal is the 27-year old’s first for the Egyptian side since joining them last season on a free transfer following a successful season with Ghanaian club Bechem United.
