The Dispute resolution Committee of the GOC has disqualified delegates from both the handball Association and the athletes’ commission but have maintained that of the Olympians Association ahead of its elective congress on Wednesday at the Alisa hotel.
The GOC will hold its elections to elect new members to steer the affairs of the organization. Incumbent President Prof Francis Dodoo will compete against Weightlifting Boss Ben Nunoo Mensah for the seat.
The battle for the Vice President Position is between Paul Atso and Deborah Kubadzi. Secretary General Richard Akpkavie will be hoping to retain his position as he slug it out with Cycling President Mohammed Sahnoon.
Some delegates questioned some laid down procedures by the incumbent Prof Francis Dodoo and those concerns have been dealt with by the dispute resolution committee.
