GPL: 10-man Aduana Stars team beat struggling Olympics to clinch second spot on league table


Aduana Stars continued their impressive form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League after beating struggling Great Olympics 2-1 at the Accra Sports stadium on Monday afternoon.

An own goal from Olympic defender Dan Quaye in the 10th minute powered the visitors in front before Bright Adjei made it 2-0 on the 39th minute.

Striker Abel Manomey however managed to pull one back for struggling Godwin Atram’s side.

Defender Godfred Saka could not play the entire duration after receiving a straight red card following a bad tackle on his marker.

The Ogya lads after Monday’s 2-1 victory over Olympics are second on the league table with 21 points, two adrift leaders WAFA.
