A Late header by Striker Derrick Sasraku ensured that Aduana Stars extended their lead by 3-points at the top of the Ghana Premier League with a 2-1 win over Inter Allies at the El wak stadium on Saturday.
Isaac Twum gave the home side the lead on the stroke of half time with a sweet free kick to give hope to The Eleven Is To Ones who were looking to avoid a second defeat in a role.
But veteran striker Nathaniel Asamoah equalized in the 65th minute when he rose highest to nod home a Godfred Saka cross.
The equalizer from the Ogya lads gave them a sense of belief with Head Coach Yussif Abubakar making more attacking changes.
That changes spurred them on to push harder for the winner but the Inter Allies defense proved resolute.
That however did not prevent Aduana from pressing on and the persistent pressure paid off in 92nd minute.
Godfred Saka again sent in a sweet cross into the area and Derrick Sasraku was on hand head home what eventual proves to be the winner.
The victory sent Aduana Stars 3 points clear off Asante Kotoko at the top of the standings with the Porcupine Warriors set to play struggling Newbies Bolga All Stars.
