The Ghana Premier League match day nine fixture between newly promoted Elmina Sharks and Liberty Professionals will take place on Saturday April 1, 2017 instead of Sunday.
The move is to enable the league’s broadcast right holders Star Times to show the match live on TV from the Papa Kwesi Nduom Sports Stadium in Elmina.
The Premier League Board have communicated to both clubs accordingly and agreement have been reached for the change in schedules.
In line with the new arrangements, Liberty Professionals have rescheduled their travel time from Saturday to Friday.
The Dansoman based side will hold their final training session at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman on Friday morning before leaving for Elmina in the evening.
The game will be a first ever top flight league encounter between the two sides whose only other competitive meeting came in the quarter final of the 2015/2016 MTN FA Cup.
