Hearts deepen Olympics woes, after derby win, Kotoko held by Bolga All Stars


Hearts of Oak beat Great Olympics 2-1 in the week 7 fixture to inflict more pain on the dwindling returnees at the Accra sports stadium.

Hearts of Oak suffered a 0-2 defeat against Aduana Stars last weekend but responded well as they waited till the 82nd to secure all the three points.

Olympics started well in the game but could not make the most of the chance as the Phobians drew the first blood against the run of play.

Paul Acquah neatly diverted Fatau’s cross in the 25th minutes.

Olympics replied in 14th minutes after Hearts defense were caught ball watching to allow Benjamin Arthur to head home in the 39th minutes.
