Ghanaian defender Kingsley Fobi says he’s hoping to play for English Premier League side Watford in future.
Watford recently signed the 18-year-old Ghanaian prodigy from Udinese and sent him on loan to SD Formentera ahead of the coming season.
Fobi who started his playing career in Ghana with Right to Dream Academy has gained youth experience by playing every minute of Ghana’s Under-20 World Cup run in 2015 including a 3-2 win over Argentina.
Speaking exclusively to SportsworldGhana.com after his move to Spain disclosed his ultimate dream of playing for his parent club in future.
He says ‘’Every player wants to play in the English Premier League and so now that I am Watford player I hope to play for them in future and I am working very hard to achieve that as a young player’’
‘’I just have to keep on doing my best and hope for the best’’
‘’I feel happy to be part of my new family here in Spain. I feel like I am home here which is important because when you have that mentality you won’t feel any pressure from outside.’’
The former Ghana U20 star added ‘At time time what I should be thinking about is how to improve my performance but seriously I am happy to be here’’.
