The Black Sharks of Ghana overcame a poor start to eliminate the Harambee Stars of Kenya by beating them 7 goals to 1.
The Kenyans got the first goal through a free kick but the Sharks drew level through a set piece by defender Kofi Aziz.The first quartet ended in a pulsating 1-1 draw.
But the Sharks came into the 2nd quartet a reinvigorated side. Richard Ossah shot the Sharks in the lead with an absolute belter of a goal. He then went on to bag a hat-trick to end the quartet.
The Black Sharks took over the game with the diminutive Alfred Torsu dictating the pace of the game. Skipper Michael Sema recovered from a poor start to add two goals before an astonishing goal by Alexander Adjei to cap off of an outstanding game.
Watched by a huge crowd including key personalities such as the former Minister of Transport, Honourable Dzifa Ativor, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Youth and Sports,Otto Plahar ,Tony Baffoe ,the president of Ghana Professional Footballers Association (GPSA) and ace dancehall artist Stonebwoy,the sharks displayed awe-inspiring football to the excitement of the crowd.
The Black Sharks have now qualified for the 2016 Beach Soccer AFCON on a 17-4 aggregate
The tournament, the second of its kind will be held in Nigeria in December.
The Black Sharks will be hoping to clinch the title after an impressive debut last year.
