Switzerland based indefatigable defender Kasim Adams Nuhu is delighted with his debut call-up into the Black Stars ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda.
According to the Stalwart defender, joining the Black Stars team for the first time is a ”dream come true” and that he’s ready to play his heart out to justify his inclusion in Ghana’s team to face Uganda on Saturday.
Kasim, last week was named in Coach Kwesi Appiah’s 26 man squad to face the Cranes of Uganda on October 7 before playing Saudi Arabia in a friendly three days later.
The former Medeama SC centre back in an exclusive chat with sportsworldGhana.com from the Black Stars camp in Kenya said ”I’m happy with call-up to the Black Stars team it’s really a dream come true invitation. “It is also an honour for me”.
He continued ‘I will do my best and make sure I don’t disappoint Ghanians, one thing I can promise all Ghanaians is hard work. I’m ready to defend the Black Stars colors when given the chance since that is my job as a player”.
Kasim who has been very consistent for the Swiss Super league leaders is likely to be handed a debut starting role of partnering Leicester defender Daniel Amartey on Saturday in Kampala after dependable duo Jonathan Mensah and John Boye failed to make the final cut because of injury concerns.
