Kotoko to donate to “Special School” in Kumasi

Kotoko players and officials will celebrate Christmas a little earlier than December 25, 2016 when they join kids at the Garden City Special School, Asokore Mampong on Tuesday morning.

The club, under the leadership of Executive Chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei will visit the Special School to donate food items to the kids at 11am.

The decision to visit the school, Head of Communications, Obed Acheampong explained, was arrived at last week, as Management pondered over what to do this Christmas not just for the team but also within the community they serve.

“We find it extremely important to undertake such an event. The Christmas season is here and the best we can do for ourselves and for the people we live with, is to show love in the simplest possible ways” said Obed Acheampong.

“This is one way of saying that, we care about the community we live in. We will be there after the team’s training session on Tuesday morning to express our care and concern. We hope to do that in and out of seasons like this so our fans will know that, we truly care” he added.
