Operations Manager of West African Football Academy [WAFA] George Ofosu Hene predicted a heavy defeat for Asante Kotoko in Sogakope on Wednesday.
Coach Steve Pollack and his charges will travel to Sogakope for the Ghana Premier League week 24 outstanding fixture and the Academy boys seem to have prepared a handsome package for them in the crunchy match.
WAFA dismantled Accra Hearts of Oak with a commanding 5-0 defeat the last time they visited the Red Bull Arena and George Ofosu believes Kotoko could suffer similar punishment.
Despite the absence of integral players like Majeed Ashimeru, Goalkeeper Razak Abarola and Daniel Lomotey Fosuhene insist WAFA has the requisite materials to humble the Ghana Premier League giants to go top of the log.
”All we need is the 3 points to go top of the league table” He said.
”Dr. Kwame Kyei and the entire Kotoko family will applaud us on Wednesday when we beat them”. He told Kumasi based FOX FM.
He continued ‘’I watched Saddick Adams and Amos Frimpong when the Black Stars B played against Burkina-Faso and if this is how they will play on Wednesday then something big will happen in Sogakope’’
A win foe WAFA will see them go top of the log with 46 points, two above current leaders Aduana Stars.
