Spokes person for the sports ministry Elvis Adjei Baah has revealed that his outfit in conjunction with the Works and housing ministry have secured a permanent accommodation for Black Stars Coach Kwasi Appiah at the airport residential area.
The accommodation is expected to be ready by the end of the year. Former coach Avram Grant had to lodge at the Alisa hotel for the two-year period he was in charge of the team.
This constant practice has incurred huge cost on the government. Elvis Adjei Baah insists the new development will help save money.
“The ministry of youth and sports in conjunction with the works and housing ministry,we have been able to secure a permanent for coach Kwasi Appiah”
“We taught that we needed to save money so it was important that we get a permanent accommodation for him”he told Starr Sports
“We started this process sometime ago and hopefully all the needed works have been done and currently we are furnishing it for him to move in at the airport residential area”
“Hopefully very soon all these processes will be done and he has already inspected the facility and he loved it “he added
