Former Asante Kotoko striker Ben Acheampong has urged fans of the club to focus their attention on wining next season’s league title after Wednesday’s unfortunate accident.
Asante Kotoko were involved in a fatal motor accident at Nkawkaw while returning to Kumasi following a 1-0 defeat to Inter Allies in a match day 22 fixture.
The Porcupine warriors sit fourth on the league log with 35 points from 22 games.
Acheampong who admits leaders WAFA, Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak are all doing well,insists Kotoko should forgo of any dream of winning this season’s league title.
“They still have good players and i hope they can bounce back but there will be some kind of fear in he players so they should rather concentrate on the players health and forget about the title”
