Giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak both suffered defeats in their second group games in the ongoing GHALCA G-8 tournament.
The two sides won their opening fixture of this season’s curtain raiser competition, but lost to Medeama SC and Dreams FC respectively.

The Yellow and Mauves quickly extended their advantage in the 24th minute through Boateng again after he was put through by striker Kwame Boateng.
Hearts can still qualify to the semifinal if they record positive result against Ebusua Dwarfs in their last game.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko were also shocked at the Baba Yara sports stadium by returnees Dreams FC .
The Kweiman based club scored the all important goal in the second half through striker Richard Addai.
The Porcupine Warriors were awarded a penalty but striker Frederick Boateng who could sign for the club in the coming days, failed to put Kotoko back on level perking.
The defeat means Kotoko must beat Aduana Stars in thierr last group game to secure qualification to the next phase of the competition as the group is thrown wide open.
