Hearts of Oak failed to score for the first time in so many games after losing 1-0 to Medeama at the Tarkwa T&A Park.
The Phobians went into the fixture after losing out on the premier league for the nine consecutive season but could not match up with Tarkwa side as they slip to a narrow defeat.
The tempo of the game didn’t show much intensity with no threats from both sides in the first half. Hearts of Oak resumed the second half with their usual pressing, pushing the home side to their half but Medeama defense stood to the threats.
The host turned the stakes round in the 60th minutes and managed to squeeze the goal which proved to be the decider. Kwasi Donsu lifted a decent free kick which fall to Amos Korankye who directed the ball to Francis Addo to slot home in the 68th minute.
The Phobians probed for the equalizer but Medeama defense were once again equal to Hearts’ threats.

Aduana Stars annexed their second premiership trophy after overcoming a stubborn Elimina Sharks in a fiercely contested week 29 fixture at the Agyemany Badu Park.
The visitors managed to hold the free scoring Aduana and struck in the closing stages of the half time. Benjamin Yeboah stood collected the ball after Aduana counter-attack had broken down to silenced the expectant home fans.
Hopes were running down in Dormaa as Elimina Sharks restart the second half with high level of care and marching the league toppers in all departments but the visitors could not hold on as Rashid Alhassan equalized in the 54th minute.
