Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah has admonished his side Columbus Crew to forget about the 5-0 annihilation at the hands of FC Toronto in the MLS last Friday on focus on their upcoming fixtures.
Columbus Crew’s Friday defeat which saw Mensah play full throttle was the club’s worst loss in Major League Soccer play in franchise history.
Mensah has however told his team mates to put the 5-0 drubbing behind as the team prepares to face Seattle Sounders on Thursday
“We cannot keep beating ourselves up because of this loss. We have to take it as a lesson,” defender Jonathan Mensah said.
“We just have to correct everything on the field and it will be fine afterward.”
Columbus Crew are 5th on the league log with 19 points after fourteen games.
