Following Kumasi Asante Kotoko contract’s termination with head coach Dzravko Lugarusic, the lawyer of the club, Lawyer Boafo has stated the club won’t engage the services of the ex assistant trainer Osei.
Kotoko abrogated their contract with the Croatian on Sunday after Dwarfs held the Kumasi based club in the match day 11 of the Ghana premier league to a scoreless draw.
After his exit, a section of the Kotoko fans have called on the management of the club to recall the former assistant coach who recruited most of the new players of the club but Club’s lawyer, Boafo says Michael Osei wouldn’t be considered for now.
“For now Michael Osei isn’t an option for us. We’re not looking at him because he isn’t Kotoko level yet, maybe in the future, not now” Boafo told Kessben TV.
Assistant coach of the team Gordon Ablodey has been tasked to act temporarily as the acting head coach of the team. Kotoko will play away to Wa All Stars in the match day 12 of the Ghana premier league.
