The name of the former AC Milan player has been seen in a reported list of a 29-man provisional squad invited by Ghana coach Avram Grant ahead of the 2017 Gabon AFCON.
According to our sources within the corridors of the FA, the Ghana football Association headed by Kwesi Nyantakyi and deputized by George Afriyie have communicated to Avram to omit Kevin Prince Boateng’s name in the AFCON list.
The football Association insist, the informed Las Palmas player has indefinitely been banned to play for the national team.
It will be recalled the Dzamefe Commission placed the restrictions on Sulley muntari and Kevin Prince after Ghana’ debacle in the 2014 Worldcup in Brazil.
The commission stated however the players can only be available for call up to play for Ghana again after publicly apologizing.
Sulley Muntari thus has apologized but outcast Kevin Prince Boateng is yet to after three years.
