The Nduom sports Complex, home grounds for Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks FC has been given a massive facelifts with the installation of seats at the facility.
The newly built multi-purpose sports facility has been a venue for topflight matches in Ghana since the turn of the year following Sharks’ promotion to the Premier League.
Based in Elmina, in the Central Region of Ghana, the Nduom sports complex remains one of the very few sporting grounds in the country owned by individuals or club owners but the first of its kind in terms of state of the art facilities.
Following the Heavy rainstorms that ripped off the roofs of the facilty a couple of months ago, the owner of the Complex and President of Elmina Sharks FC Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom vowed to give it a facelift.
With the top-flight football in Elmina not returning until Sunday June 25, workers on the site will have ample time to finish with the new installations before Hearts of Oak’s visit to the venue.
The new seating arrangement will not just add aesthetic appeal to the stadium. It will also increase the capacity of the facility on match days.
The colourfully arranged seats, taking the colors of the club, will add another brand image to the ever growing Elmina Sharks and Sea Lions, the two clubs set to use the facility for home matches.
