The English third-tier side have announced the capture of former Watford youth star in the ongoing transfer window.
Mensah joins Rovers for an undisclosed fee from National League side Aldershot Town and goes straight into the Gas squad to take on Blackpool tomorrow.
The 23-year-old has already had some Gasheads excited with his talk of pace and tricks on the wing, while his highlights reel certainly catches the eye.
Despite appearing at the Memorial Stadium against Rovers a couple of years ago while on loan at Braintree Town, his name was still unknown to a large majority of Rovers fans.
The Ghanaian international after earning his trade at Watford, Mensah joined Aldershot in June 2016 and made an instant impact, scoring 11 goals in 44 appearances as the Hampshire team sneaked into the National League play-offs.
“I’m very pleased to have signed so early in the transfer window as the earlier the deal is done the better for the player and the club” said Mensah.
Mensah has netted 15 Goals in over 50 matches for Aldershot after signing for them in 2016.
