Asante Kotoko left back Eric Donkor has said that though the playing body tried doing their best to ensure they kicked CARA Brazzaville out of CAF Confederation Cup match, their best wasn’t enough to get them qualification.
Donkor admits the teeming supporters have been led down by the team and that the playing body is sorry for the massive disappointment in Congo.
Kotoko, after a two legged encounter with the Congolese side recorded a 1-1 aggregate but failed to score three penalties to get them ticket the the next phase of the competition.
Though Goalkeeper Felix Annan had a good day, Kwame Boahene, Obed Owusu and Jackson Owus’s miss ended the Porcupine Warrious African campaign in Congo.
