Spokesperson of the Ghana Football Association Ibrahim Sani Dara says the FA will go in for a Coach who will be willing to stay in the country to monitor players.
Former Black Stars Coach Avram Grant was always criticized for failing to stay in the country to monitor locally based players and build a home based squad capable of representing Ghana in the absence of the foreign based players.
The FA is in search of a new trainer after the exit of Avram Grant and Sani Dara claims they will go in for a Coach who is willing to stay in the country and monitor our local game.
“We have not taking a decision yet but already talks are underway for us to decide on who will be our next Coach”.
“We want a coach who can catapult the team to greater heights, someone with a proven record of transforming teams and talents to make them shine when there is no hope” he told Starr FM
“So these are some of the criteria we will be looking at that’s the coaches competence, his ability to work in Africa and above all a coach who will come and stay here”
‘We will look at these things before we take a decision on who becomes our next Coach”he added.
