Poor preparations derailed our Success – Evans Adotey


Coach of the national under 17 women’s team, Evans Adotey has attributed the ladies inability to achieve their “target” to poor preparations.

The Maidens were axed in the quarter-final stage of the ongoing FIFA under 17 women’s world cup  by a 93rd minute goal against North Korea having amassed six points to finish second in their group.

Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, the experienced coach disclosed that “our target was to finish in the last four this year we couldn’t achieve our target. We have done well in the past so it was our hope that we reach that level this year but due to poor preparations we couldn’t perform to our ultimate level. Our preparations was poor “.
